FAQ

How do Forenscope technologies work?

Standard cameras used in daily life operate at wavelengths between 400-700 nm. High-tech special sensors are needed as we go from 400 nm to 200 nm in UV lights. Wavelengths above 700 nm cannot be seen by the human eye. Wavelengths beyond the limits of standard cameras and human eye are still very crucial for forensic research. The IR / UV (UVC-UVB-UVA) / VIS spectral range can reveal vast amount of data in the field of forensic sciences and forensic medicine both for evidence collection and research. Therefore, Forenscope uses multispectral technologies and a combination of lights, filters, software and lenses to provide quality-driven evidence right at the crime scene. We prioritize mobility and versatility in our products to be able to innovate the traditional processes.

What makes Forenscope products special?

Forenscope products have lots of advantages over traditional methods. With the combination of years of R&D and help from experts in the field, Forenscope managed to create innovation within the forensic science and forensic medicine fields.

Forenscope products are very lightweight and mobile which makes them very useful and easy-to-use to detect and collect evidence at the crime scene. Our philosophy in research & development is to take the lab to the scene instead of taking the scene to the lab.

With its unique technologies, Forenscope offers the most versatility in each device. While our devices are made with different purposes, most of our devices can detect body fluids, fingerprints, GSR and many more traces all in one device. Our devices offer more and better quality traces at the crime scene with just one compact device. This is a revolution in the field of forensic science where traditionally an officer would need a lot more items to carry to the scene individually. This offers both cost and weight advantage to our devices.

The biggest advantage Forenscope brings to the table is cutting time and human effort drastically. We designed our devices to offer evidence detection, collection and transfer all at once which decreases the time and human effort spent in forensic processes by a large percentage. That means more time and money to work on more cases and a better world for all!
