ForenScope had an outstanding week in Peru, where we had the pleasure of bringing our flagship systems—including SuperSpectral Force, the 8K Android Latent Fingerprint Detection Tablet, and T-Zoom+—together with Peruvian criminal investigation experts. We were also delighted to showcase Laser&Atomizer and HyybridSpectral, two of our most innovative solutions representing the latest advances in our technology.
Our first stop was the Traffic, Transportation and Road Safety Unit of the Peruvian National Police. The latent fingerprints we were able to easily reveal on steering wheels and vehicle door handles using Laser&Atomizer were undoubtedly the stars of the day. In cases such as traffic accidents or vehicle theft, determining who was last behind the wheel can be crucial. During our demonstration, we showed how Laser&Atomizer can reveal latent fingerprints and support identification in such scenarios.
In accident cases involving injuries or similar circumstances, SuperSpectral Force, with its unique capabilities for detecting body fluids, also attracted significant interest.
The following day, we held a workshop with the participation of security forces from numerous government institutions across Peru. We brought the entire ForenScope product range together with forensic experts from across the country, giving them the opportunity to experience firsthand the systems we have developed to advance the field of criminalistics.
Our next stop was the Institute of Legal Medicine. Here, we introduced solutions such as the Safe Ultra System, designed for sexual assault investigations, and its portable counterpart, SuperSpectral Safe. The systems’ impressive performance in detecting bruising, old scars, burn marks, and body fluids was particularly well received and highly appreciated by the experts.
Finally, at the Arequipa Criminal Investigation Unit, we had the opportunity to demonstrate how Laser&Atomizer can easily reveal fingerprints even on highly complex porous surfaces. We also shared with the institution’s experts how HyybridSpectral, with its lightweight, portable design and high functionality, is bringing a new approach to forensic investigations.
We would like to thank all the experts and participants who took the time to join our demonstrations and experience firsthand the new perspective ForenScope is bringing to the field of forensic science.
